  As the edges are folded over, the stock strips are less sharp. This system is not only safer but provides more support for the stamps with the reinforced upper edges.(See picture 3) Prinz Imperial Stockbooks have fully padded covers.   Note: The Imperial stockbook is designed for displaying stamps. Because of the extra strong strips you should avoid placing stamps more than 1 deep in these strips.
